Financial Literacy Month – Personal finance and housing are a concern for Quebecers

MONTREAL, October 30, 2024 /CNW/ – As part of Financial Literacy Month, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) is encouraging Quebecers to take time to reassess their financial situation, focusing in particular on the affordability of home ownership and the responsibilities associated with different types of housing. .

Inflation and interest rate movements in recent months, combined with mortgage renewals and adverse weather linked to climate change, have increased pressure on household finances in Quebec.
